What can i adapt or modificate on a TOONBOOK2 image ?Lundi 24 Janvier 2011

TOONBOOK2 images are more useful than whatever any classic imagebank can offer you, notably because of their vectorial features :
  • You can of course use the uploaded files right out as common .jpg or .pdf files, readable on any computer.
  • TOONBOOK2 Image bank has yet exclusive features : For example, PDF files will give high resolution images (a4 300 dpi) when opened in most bitmap or photo retouch softwares.
  • And much more : once opened with Adobe Illustrator ® (version 11 or higher recommended)**, each element of the .pdf illustration can be moved or transform as a vectorial object, so you can compose your personnal productions based on one or more TOONBOOK2 files !* (* See our General Granting Conditions ** Some data loss may occur on version 10 ( some gradiants turn to yellow !), but transparencies seems to be imported. Does NOT work with older versions and with Freehand ®, other vectorial softwares not tested).
  • You can off course use the entire image or a part of it, reposition or change the scale, rotate or apply a mirror effect.
  • Most of TOONBOOK2 images (objects or characters) have no background. This feature allows you to combine as many images as you want to create a more complex illustration. When a background is present on a .pdf image, it is generally an independent vectorial object, that can be modified or removed easily. A warning message may appear in the Gallery when your mouse flies over the "details" zone : some images have a non- independant background and are mentionned by this way. You can nevertheless cut out characters or objects out of this type of illustration if you are mastering the adequate softwares and tools ( cissors and so on...)
  • Easy to use Balloons and other accessories are FREE. Make your characters express or dialogue thanks to our TB2 GOODIES !
  • CMYK color images can be switched to RGB or levels of grey.
  • Image elements such as clothing, signs, notices, vehicles or others can display final user´s own colors, logo , or personalised text or slogan, within the limits of our General Licences Granting Conditions.
  • No-backgrounded images can be placed on a plain or gradiant color, or on a photographic background (under complete responsability of user in matter of copyright).
  • It is most important, for you, as well as the end user of the image and the author of it, to respect some important technical détails such as perspective, proportions, and to adjust direction of the balloons(easy with PDF on Illustrator®) or eyes, pupils and so on...

If you reduce an image very much, don´t forget to adjust the thickness of the outline.

!!! IMAGES ARE NOT ALWAYS MADE OF "SPARE PARTS" (Objects such as heads, arms, legs, etc...).

USE ALWAYS A COPY OF LICENSED IMAGE TO MAKE ANY MODIFICATION
